The German firm TWAICE was founded in June 2018 by Dr. Michael Baumann and Dr. TWAICE is also working with TÜV Rheinland (Technical Inspection Association, a network of companies in Germany and Austria that test, inspect and certify technical systems, roughly similar to UL or Intertek) to build a test and certification system for used EV batteries.
