The test cell’s support equipment (conditioned combustion air, cooling system, fuel mass flow measurement and exhaust system) was designed to comfortably support 7,000-hp engines. The first cell was completed in September and the second cell will be available in early 2015.

DTNA’s SuperTruck was unveiled at the 2015 Mid-America Trucking Show. DTNA unveiled its SuperTruck at the 2015 Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) in the Freightliner Trucks booth. The Freightliner SuperTruck features a low-back-pressure, next-generation aftertreatment system that efficiently removes NO x from the exhaust stream.

TCEP will begin delivering CO 2 to Whiting when the plant commences operations in late 2014 or early 2015; construction is scheduled to begin at the end of this year. This is another important milestone for the Texas Clean Energy Project, coming on the heels of last month’s power purchase announcement with CPS Energy in San Antonio.
