The study, published recently in Atmospheric Environment , investigated commuter exposure to PM 2.5 , black carbon (BC), and ultrafine particles (UFP) in six common transport microenvironments in Sacramento, California. The update sets funding priorities for the approximately $100 million in annual state funds under the Commission’s Alternative and Renewable Fuels and Vehicle Technology (ARFVT) Program, created by Assembly Bill 118. An estimated 68 stations are needed to support the anticipated rollout of these vehicles in 2015-2017.
