All kinds of green cars are eligible for tax breaks, but the 2011 Porsche Cayenne Hybrid could be one of the most expensive vehicles ever to get the IRS' nod of approval. The Cayenne S Hybrid earns its buyers up to $1,800 in federal tax credits, the automaker says, making it the first Porsche ever to qualify for the deduction.

The Coda will be a four-door, five passenger car, that will be made available for around $45,000 - even less once a $7,500 Federal tax credit and additional state incentives are taken into account. The hope for Coda Automotive is to sell 2,700 units in 2010 with production capacity reaching 20,000 units in 2011.
