Land Rover presented its Range_e development model at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this week. This development model features a plug-in hybrid diesel-electric powertrain that Land Rover expects to make available in future production models, following the scheduled launch of its diesel-electric hybrid in 2013.

In London, Land Rover unveiled the New Range Rover Evoque luxury compact SUV. The compact footprint is almost identical to its predecessor’s at 4.37m, yet built on Land Rover’s new Premium Transverse Architecture, there is more interior space than before. The original Range Rover Evoque made its debut in 2010.

Following its worldwide launch at the New York International Auto Show, the new 2010 Range Rover, including the 2010 Range Rover Sport and Discovery 4, will head to the UK as part of the London Motorexpo event. It will also be possible to get behind the wheel of the Freelander 2 TD4_e with a test drive at the show.
