meter-tall Nexø II rocket was powered by a bipropellant engine designed and constructed by the Copenhagen Suborbitals team. That successful mission in August 2018 was a huge step toward our goal of sending an amateur astronaut to the edge of space aboard one of our DIY rockets. Even more important, it came back down in one piece.

The nonprofit CalCars does conversions to demonstrate new designs and provide a platform for different batteries; we dont sell conversions. We have sponsored the EAA-PHEV project and our Open-Source designs are being used by some of the private companies as well as technically advanced individuals. So far, most start as hybrids.

At this point it was 2008, and AMPbot was scheduled for release in early 2009, but that was not to be. The financial crisis of 2008 changed the priorities for all the toy companies, and after only about a dozen pre-production prototypes were made, AMPbot was cancelled by Hasbro.
