On Saturday, the Mayflower Incident Unified Command Joint Information Center said that emergency response personnel were on the ground within 30 minutes after the leak was detected. The Pegasus pipeline originally transported crude from the Gulf coast to Patoka. The cause of the spill is under investigation. Source: City of Mayflower.

The report for the Department for Transport is based on a survey module included in the Office for National Statistics’ Opinions (Omnibus) survey which has been carried out each August since 2006.
