Building on LCFS policies already adopted in Europe, British Columbia, and California, the researchers looked at potential costs and benefits of reducing the carbon intensity of transportation fuels by 10 to 15 percent by 2030. Annual use of an EV should be less than the average cost of $8,000 per year for using a gasoline in many countries including the USA. Millions of EVs and PHEVs would expand the sale of electricity as an alternative to oil. No more Big OIL - think of the extra money stimulating the economy! Then we are done! No more big energy!!
