Cummins Emission Solutions, a subsidiary of Cummins Inc., will introduce the first of its next generation of ultra-high efficiency aftertreatment systems, the EcoFit Single Module, at the Mid America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky on 26 March. Since 2004, more than 1 million EcoFit DPFs have been put into use.

Researchers at the US Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) and the Center for Applied Energy Research at the University of Kentucky are investigating the hydrogenation of CO 2 using a conventional Fischer-Tropsch cobalt catalyst for the production of valuable hydrocarbon materials.
