California ARB Seeks Further Reductions of Diesel Emissions at State Rail Yards

Through a combination of state and federal regulations, incentive funding, binding agreements and voluntary actions by the railroad companies, California will see dramatic reductions in their airborne emissions, between 50-80%, depending on the individual rail yard, as early as 2015. NO x helps create ground-level ozone, or smog.
