To source the new lightweight track-capable carbon fiber wheels that are standard on the new Shelby GT350R Mustang, Ford partnered with Australia-based Carbon Revolution. Carbon Revolution first began delivering composite wheels in 2004 for Formula SAE campaigns.

Audi is systematically driving forward the electrification of its cars with both high-voltage, electric drive e-tron models as well as lower voltage mild hybrids. The concept study offers sports car-like performance. During boosting, the driver can draw temporarily on 370 kW and more than 800 N·m (590.0 lb-ft) of torque.
