Nissan estimates that the CO2 emissions of all new vehicles in 2050 would need to be reduced by 90 per cent compared to 2000 levels and as a result Nissan is reviewing its road map for emissions of new vehicles. Engineering proptypes enjoy a tax break. Companies can not sell engineering prototypes in which the company got R&D tax breaks in developing the product.
