The project uses a 24-kilowatt-hour fixed storage EnerDel battery pack, originally designed for the THINK City electric vehicle. Ltd, which did the EV modifications; THINK, which provided parts; Kyuki Inc. Ltd, which provided the photovoltaic systems; and Wind Car, Inc., which is providing the car sharing operation.

Other than sports car wanna-bes, modern cars are so quiet that you hear tire/wind noise much more than engines. Reply ↓ ↑ report 3 Snowdog 6:22PM (4/17/2009) Totally agree. I have stated the same before. If they force noice makers on Hybrids and EVs, this will be yet another break down in common sense.

Think has also established partnerships in the U.S. Think Global was formerly known as Think City, a prior Ford Motor Company ( F ) acquisition and part of a now-defunct Think division at Ford. The Think City was short-lived in the States with production halting in 2002 after just 1005 cars had been assembled.
