India's Reva was first into the market with the G-Wiz. Mitsubishi could be the first with cars for sale if the UK distributor has its way. The i-MIEV would make available for the first time in the UK a full-function, highway-capable electric car, if still very small by American standards.

The prototype worked well enough that his parents were willing to throw out their standard showerhead. The redesign also replaced the AA batteries with a turbine that generates power from the water flow and sends it to a small rechargeable battery sealed inside the device.
