Our neighborhood is called the “Hollywood Riviera&# because of its beautiful hillside homes with idyllic ocean views framed by palm trees. We’re also only 12 miles from the Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach – the two largest stationary sources off air pollution and all their related greenhouse gases in L.A.

We’ve now got some Mo going with: California solar loan financing that will eliminate the big up front cost of solar. With the coming solar feed-in tariff legislation moving through Sacramento that will pay us for the extra solar energy we produce and feed back into the grid.

I’ve been up on roofs installing solar… among other things. In this case for GRID Alternatives at a low income home in my old neighborhood in Long Beach, California. Like these guys above securing the solar panels to the rack of the Long Beach house we worked on. Ralph is in the middle and Jose is on the far right.
