He worked in managerial positions in New York, Ohio, and Virginia, then became AEP's chief executive in 1976 and served in that role until he retired in 1991. US DOE Awards $300 Million in Clean Cities Grants to Support Alternative Fuels, Vehicles, and Infrastructure Development

New vehicles to be deployed include 55 CNG vehicles, 363 propane vehicles, 89 hybrid electric vehicles, and 56 neighborhood electric vehicles. Clean Fuels Ohio’s Ohio Advanced Transportation Partnership (OATP). The project will replace 180 diesel drayage trucks at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach with LNG trucks.
