MINI is on the hunt for willing test drivers to drive its electric MINI cars as part of a Government-backed scheme to get electric cars on the roads. This funding has meant that the monthly lease fee can be reduced to £330 per month, which includes VAT, insurance and maintenance (terms and conditions apply). from 01- 30 September 2009.

In London we have congestion charge, plus a customer dense network. With very few moving parts, there is little that can break, so maintenance is infrequent and cheap. Initial municipal or national government support is necessary. Tags: evdriven. And the vehicles function well. But they havent yet.
