Reported sales of light-duty hybrids in the US dropped 29% by volume in February year-on-year to 16,020 units. The decline in hybrids was less than the 41% decline in the overall light-duty vehicle market for the month. The Tahoe, Yukon and Escalade two-mode full-size SUVs posted a combined 632 units, representing 8.4%

After a succession of carefully staged events for media and the public, we now know that the 2022 GMC Hummer EV will include at least two models: a sport utility truck (or SUT), with four doors and a short pickup bed, and a more conventional SUV. The Hummer wasn’t the first of GM’s new Ultium EVs to get the green light for production.

The Saturn version of the two-mode plug-in hybrid at the Milford Proving Grounds.
