Sion Power reports 400 Wh/kg, 700 Wh/L and 350 cycles under 1C for Li-ion battery with Li-metal anode technology

Sion Power reported that a Licerion-Ion system has achieved 400 Wh/kg, 700 Wh/L and 350 cycles under 1C discharge conditions. Sion combines its protected lithium anodes with intercalated metal oxide cathodes typically used for Li-ion batteries (Licerion-Ion) and with advanced sulfur cathodes (Licerion-Sulfur).

Hyundai and US DOE extend fuel cell vehicle loan partnership in concert with new DC-based hydrogen fueling station

The program involves Hyundai providing a number of Tucson Fuel Cell CUVs ( earlier post ) for daily use and confirmation by the DOE using existing hydrogen infrastructure. In February, Hyundai reported that Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell drivers had accumulated more than 1,000,000 miles on the roads and highways of Southern California.
