The trucks can be supplied with lithium phosphate batteries (right) from Valence Technologies, or lead-acid batteries from Trojan.

The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles. 80 miles was the range of the EV1 with Lead Acid batteries, that GM tried to use because they wanted the project to fail. check your facts.
