It was the Chevrolet Sprint ER , and I've found a nicely intact example in a car graveyard just east of Sacramento. The 1987 Sprint ER came in second place, due to its insatiable thirst for go-go juice on the highway (51 miles per gallon).

The big takeaway: If you want a free charge station and are located in a program area (Austin, Los Angeles, New York, Orlando, Sacramento, San Jose/San Francisco Bay Area, Bellevue/Redmond, Washington DC, Southern Michigan), raise your hand now. Free Juice Bar explicitly sells charge stations to offer free power. Obviously not.

Bill lives a good 60 miles from San Francisco, so he needs to get some juice to make his trip home after work. That very morning I was in Sacramento for the “ Pre-Application Workshop for PON-13-606 - Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure ” workshop. But now they are back on the fence, holding off on getting a plug-in car.

For the record, Bradford is a Democrat too. Which tells you something about how truly environmental those who feature the jackass as their party symbol are. The Greenius says these guys are long overdue for a colonoscopy and I know a great proctologist here in the South Bay.
