One wonders if the recent headway at MIT in building lithium ion cells using ?virus? A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator. Teslas new Model S will be pure EV and will get 160 miles per charge for $49,900 and for a bit more $$ you can get the 230 or 300 mile battery options.
