Stellantis has pulled the drapes off its all-new STLA Large platform that it hopes will give it the edge when it comes to its biggest most expensive EVs from the likes of Alfa Romeo, Maserati and Jeep. Speaking of the latter, the new STLA Large architecture will also spin-off the new Land Rover Defender-rivalling Jeep Recon.

The new Mitsubishi Triton is joining the petrol-electric plug-in hybrid rush alongside the 2024 BYD ute and 2025 Ford Ranger PHEV. Sawase said the Triton’s PHEV system would share similarities with the P2 modular design used by the Jeep 4XE and Land Rover/Range Rover. 2024 Mitsubishi Triton.
