The discovery well was drilled to a total depth of 15,783 feet (4,811 meters) and encountered 184 feet (56 meters) of net natural gas pay in high-quality lower Miocene sands. Co-owners are Avner Oil and Delek Drilling each with a 26.47% interest.

Noble’s discovered resources in the Eastern Mediterranean now totals nearly 40 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. Noble Energy, Inc. with 20 percent.

Based on the interim results of a new study, MIT researchers are warning smaller nations to proceed with caution in pursuing the development of their natural gas resources. While natural gas is often cheaper than oil and gives off fewer emissions, developing the resource comes with risks, especially for smaller nations.

Better Place is building stations in San Francisco, Hawaii, Israel, and Denmark to swap out 1,000 pound batteries in a car wash type set up. Several global indicators on the supply of oil and the known carbon pollution environmental damages its caused all lead us to find cleaner ways of transportation. We have oil!

Driving range will no longer be an obstacle, because customers will be able to plug their cars into charging units in any of the 500,000 charging spots in Israel. Shai Agassi predicts that Israel will have over 100,000 electric vehicles in use by 2010. No more Big OIL - think of the extra money stimulating the economy!
