The side-mounted scoops that feed air to the X1/9's radiator look good when installed on a 1965 Chevrolet Impala sedan. The X1/9 got Bertone badges and was available here through 1989, while the 124 Sport Spider became a Pininfarina. This car still had a set of 13-inch Cromodora magnesium wheels when I found it.

I have also seen people advertising EVs on eBay who claim 100 mile range from a one hour charge using a standard 110V outlet. When GM installed chargers for the EV1 they used a 50amp 220V circuit that could pump over 6KW into the batteries. Some industrial sites are even set up with 440V 3 phase service.
