Rent a petrol or diesel car for your holidays. In many places, electric cars are cheaper to rent than equivalent petrol cars. And as Europcar says on its website: Save on Petrol! Nowhere does Europcar mention a Seres 3 electric SUV. I note my booking said: Hyundai Kona Electric or similar compact SUV.

Striking thing, this electric SUV-cum-wagon. Day 4: Juicing Up Despite all my driving fun, I’m still returning just under Kia’s official consumption figure. That said, I stand by my belief I’d be happier with a comfier, rangier EV6 Air and then buy a fun petrol toy with the money saved. Opportunities galore.

The idea is that when your car needs more energy, you can drive your car into a station and, like an automated car wash, your depleted battery is replaced robotically by one that has a full charge. Maybe you should ask some engineers at the local power utility before you go shooting your mouth off, decrying how the idea will never fly.

When most of America will be reluctant to buy a GM car because the company might go bankrupt how the hell did those in charge think bailing them out was a good idea? A simple, clean, efficient EV that wont run out of juice because of its on-board gas generator. billion" is needed to do what exactly? WTF do they need ANOTHER $10.3B
