DOE to award funding to 10 projects at 9 universities for high-hydrogen-fueled turbine technology development

DOE to award up to $14M to 6 new projects to advance IGCC with carbon capture technology for coal-fired plants

The results will feed into a techno-economic analysis to estimate the impact of the WGS catalyst/CO 2 capture system on the thermal efficiency of the plant and cost of electricity.
