Honda Motor has begun assembling and marketing the subcompact Fit Hybrid (Jass Hybrid) in Thailand. The hybrid is assembled at Honda’s plant in Ayutthaya, using core components from Japan. Honda said it has sold about 150,000 units of the Fit and Jazz hybrid worldwide so far.

SSSKK) plan to begin trials on 1 July of a diesel-electric hybrid transit bus fueled by a mixture of Fischer-Tropsch diesel (FTD)—specifically, Shell’s gas-to-liquids (GTL) fuel—and hydrogenated vegetable oil (HVO), a type of renewable diesel offering similar characteristics to FTD.
