Better Place is building stations in San Francisco, Hawaii, Israel, and Denmark to swap out 1,000 pound batteries in a car wash type set up. Toyota still has not made any money on the Prius. Another point; a Jetta diesel has near the same mileage as a Prius and the Jetta Blue TDI will exceed the Prius.
