The Tri-gen system, owned and operated by FuelCell Energy, produces renewable electricity, renewable hydrogen, and water from directed biogas. This will help decrease the use of constrained local water supplies by approximately half a million gallons per year. Tri-gen produces 2.3-megawatts

Deployment of the CLEARgen system will enable Toyota to satisfy peak and mid-peak power needs using electricity from either the fuel cell system or from the power grid. It is estimated that the system will facilitate reduced consumption of peak grid power and avoidance of up to 10,000 tons of CO 2 emissions annually.
