With dual motors, the all-wheel drive has 800-volt architecture and carbon ceramic Brembo brakes. Older houses that haven't been upgraded sometimes only have 100-amp service, and to put in a 240-volt electric car charger, you really need to have 200 amp service. The last Chevrolet Volt had 53 miles of range.
