Porsche 914 EV Conversion

Over the past few weeks I've been trying to contact the folks at Electro Automotive to get the status of the EV 914 kit. They finally responded last night and apparently they're completely buried under the demand for EV conversion kits. He got one of the earlier DC motor kits for the 914 from Electro Automotive.

If you build a car as a "kit car" with no real factory, then yes, it will never be an economic success. When most of America will be reluctant to buy a GM car because the company might go bankrupt how the hell did those in charge think bailing them out was a good idea? You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart.
