First natural gas GM half-ton pickups with 5.3L DI engines delivered in Texas

The 2015 model vehicles were purchased by local Houston company NewTex Plumbing and San Antonio-based Pioneer Energy Services. GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado trucks for each fleet were upgraded to run on either natural gas or gasoline using the new DuraDrive DI natural gas system, supplied by Utah-based AGA Systems.

GM will offer U.S. Buick franchise dealers buyouts

Currently, several states ban direct-to-consumer sales and Tesla is suing Louisiana to overturn that ban. General Motors said that it will offer all of its Buick franchise dealers in the U.S.

US Refiner Converting Fleet to Hybrids and Diesels

has launched a new initiative to convert its 170-vehicle fleet to hybrid and clean diesel vehicles. Kyle McKeen, President and CEO of Alon Brands, explained that the program will apply to both vehicles and retail facilities. Vehicles at the event were provided by Boardwalk Volkswagen, Sam Pack’s Five Star Ford and Sewell GMC.
