Since then, much of the dust has settled on the Capitol as it continues to implement qualifying terms for tax credits , continuously shifting what used EVs do and do not qualify. Among electric vehicles from automakers that report specific sales numbers for their EV models, the Toyota RAV4 Prime PHEV was tops in the US in 2021 with 27,3707 units sold. Another top-selling EV beyond Tesla models that is not included is the Jeep Wrangler 4xe PHEV, which likely saw 2021 sales of between 20,000-25,000.

Tax credit incentives are also available to consumers in the U.S. I am more reminded of Segway, or that GM thing that Segway helped them build. Glad to see the variety & availability of electic commuter cars (vs hybrids & PHEV) is rising. market for sustainable “green” energy purchases.
