Kia unveils Soul EV at Chicago Auto Show

Scheduled to go on sale in the third quarter of 2014, the Soul EV will be Kia’s first battery-electric car sold in the US. kW, 109-hp electric motor, producing 210 lb-ft (285 N·m) of torque. Acceleration from 0-60 mph is expected to take fewer than 12 seconds with a top speed electronically limited to approximately 90 mph.
