The inside is comfy and so spacious that I question why anyone needs to go up in size to the Tahoe or Suburban. This one looks a bit like a baby Tahoe, for better or worse. Fuel economy won't be wallet friendly at 19/24/21. It felt torquey, too. I found the large screens easy to read. The cabin was nice and quiet.

The EPA rates the fuel economy at 19 city/24 highway/21 combined. To aid in fuel economy the Palisade has a start-stop feature where the engine shuts off when coming to a stop and restarts automatically. Finished in Moonlight Cloud, which looked black in some light, our tester had an elegant look.

In a world where SUVs and crossovers are the rage, the number of minivans sold each year have dropped to where they are about two percent of all light vehicles sold. For Kia, it meant replacing its light-selling Sedona minivan with the attractive 2022 Carnival. The EPA rates the fuel economy at 19 mpg city/26 highway/22 combined.

We will do a full Road Test in the coming months, reviewing the Sequoia in detail, including real world fuel economy. Fuel economy numbers have not been announced, but the same gasoline-hybrid power plant in the Toyota Tundra pickup gets 20 mpg city/24 highway/22 combined. All trim levels get LED head and fog lights.

The rear has an LED light strip running fender-to-fender and a demure, stylized Air Touring badge on the truck lid. Lucid names the Air Touring interiors after California destinations of Santa Cruz, Tahoe and Mojave. Tahoe gets Black and Saddle and with Carbon Oak trim, and Mojave gets seats in Black and Graphite with Carbon Oak trim.
