The EV’s homes are as might be expected, in the more populous and wealthier pockets of the San Francisco Bay Area and sprawling Los Angeles region stretching down to San Diego. It has eight times the number of EVs of the next state, Florida. The number of EVs in my neighborhood seems to be growing weekly.

New vehicles to be deployed include 55 CNG vehicles, 363 propane vehicles, 89 hybrid electric vehicles, and 56 neighborhood electric vehicles. The project will deploy 262 heavy-duty LNG trucks in Southern California and construct two LNG refueling stations in San Bernardino and South Gate (South Los Angeles) to support J.B.

To put that in perspective for you, if Los Angeles County were a state, it would rank ninth in population behind the states of California, New York, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio, and Michigan. If Los Angeles County were a nation, its economy would be the 18th largest in the world.
