In conjunction with the Memorandum, the General Services Administration (GSA) launched a pilot project to incorporate electric vehicles and technologies into the Federal fleet. GSA announced its initial purchase of more than 100 electric vehicles for a vehicle pilot. Optimum fleet size.

Last week we told you how Think had expanded to Spain and now the Norwegian company has made several additional announcements at the Electric Vehicle Symposium in Norway. Having already established an electric vehicle testing programme in Austria, Think will continue its European expansion in Spain where it will deliver 550 City electric vehicles. Think has also established partnerships in the U.S. Think Global was formerly known as Think City, a prior Ford Motor Company ( F ) acquisition and part of a now-defunct Think division at Ford. The Think City was short-lived in the States with production halting in 2002 after just 1005 cars had been assembled.
