Priced at over RMB 560,000 ($77,800), Li Auto expects the luxury minivan to be a top seller in its segment, contributing to its target of 800,000 vehicles sold this year. Until recently, Li Auto’s pipeline consisted of extended-range EVs that still utilize small combustion engines. Not bad for a glorified minivan.

Chryslers first electric car, set to be introduced late next year around the same time as General Motors Chevrolet Volt, will be a sports car with a zero-to-60 time of under five seconds and a top speed of 120 miles per hour. Power will come from a 200 kilowatt, or 268 horsepower, electric motor.
