At least GM sent this nifty printed banner explaining all about the new J1772 industry standard recharging plug. They even had a real plug connected to their toy car on the exhibit hall. Get to know Coulomb they make the CHARGEPOINT charging stations and they make them good. I like the way the MiEV looks and feels.

“Any new technology like the Chevy Volt takes time to become profitable,&# said Jay Friedland, the legislative director for Plug-In America , an electric-car advocacy group. is hoping to launch the Volt in late 2010 with a price tag of about $40,000. About $750 million is needed for near-term Volt development, according to the company.
