They wanted to see whether an electric vehicle could feed electricity back to the grid. The company’s president, Tom Gage , dubbed the system “vehicle to grid” or V2G. And EV owners would become entrepreneurs, selling electricity back to the grid. And indeed, that’s how promoters of vehicle-to-grid technology perceive the EV.

If everyone could hear Ed talk about the smart grid and how plug-in cars make it possible to inventory electricity then we’d already be building that grid today. Plug them in, charge them up, drive silent, drive clean. You say you’re looking for something a little larger?

Get to know Coulomb they make the CHARGEPOINT charging stations and they make them good. Their chargers were all over the exhibit floor charging every EV there. Coulomb offers a family of products and services that provide a plug-in vehicle charging infrastructure. May I charge your EV sir? Check the oil? there is no oil.

The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles.
