Governors of 8 states sign MoU to put 3.3M zero-emission vehicles on roads by 2025; 15% of new vehicle sales

This multi-state effort is intended to expand consumer awareness and demand for zero-emission vehicles. US electric car sales in 2012 more than tripled to about 52,000 from 17,000 in 2011.

California ARB considering regulations for alternative diesel fuels; focus on biodiesel

At the April meeting, ARB staff will discuss its biodiesel literature search, completed and on-going emissions research studies, as well as preliminary regulatory concepts for ADFs. ARB staff posted a white paper describing its initial regulatory concepts for an ADF regulation. —“Draft Regulation Concepts”.
