Tale of Two 2,000-mile EV Rural Road Trips A Two-Country Kia EV6 Experience Last year I set out to see what it would be like to take a couple of long road trips in a Kia EV6–one in the UK and the other in the U.S. I took delivery of an EV6 that Kia UK kindly loaned me. I duly plugged it into an exterior household outlet.

Hyundai has already signed contracts with cities in Denmark and Sweden to lease the ix35 Fuel Cell to municipal fleets. The fuel economy and range of the ix35 Fuel Cell have improved by 10% over the previous-generation model. The ix35 Fuel Cell achieves that goal, providing a clear choice for public and private fleets.

It’s normal for January’s plugin share to take a significant step back from December’s results, when manufacturers push to meet fleet emissions requirements, and to boost their PR credentials for annual plugin progress. Others seeing gains were Kia, taking 5th (from 16th in December), and Hyundai (8th, from 14th).

It was established in 2017 and is based in Gothenburg, Sweden, where Volvo has been for a long time (although the Polestar 2 is built in China). That will tell you how much energy your vehicle needs to travel 100 miles, a more accurate measurement than our traditional fuel economy (mpg) numbers. Still a bit of a mystery.
