Like most people, I tend to drive less than 30 miles a day, so I won’t run out of charge. right now, and our conventional 60 Hz is absolute crap - most modern airliners use 400Hz, to save on size of alternators, generators motors and transformers! About 15 amps from a 110v outlet is adequate. Europe uses 220 v.a.c.

We always seem to hear that one coming from a mile away. When a car is operating on the electric motor only, throttle and speed dependent synthesised sound projects an engine sound in front of the vehicle. Still, the instant torque of the electric motor is a rush you get to experience all the time in city driving; each time you pull away from a red light and stop sign youre wondering why gasoline engines ever became popular. The car is noisy, with the hum of the electric motor omnipresent when youre not at a standstill.

However, because of the duty cycle used by the Postal Service, which generally amounts to only about 18-20 miles per day on a fixed route, these vehicles are being built without the range extender seen on the concept. My local post office is about 5 miles from my house, so could possible fit the range requirements.
