I do have to hand it to Jon at Portland Manufacturing, he did a great job fabricating this connector it fit like a glove, and after assembling the motor and trans. m ready to install it in electric red this weekend that should conclude phase 2 ( the mechanical refit) and I should be able to blaze through the electrical, and battery phase.

As my parts have arrived in good condition, I have progressed from selecting, purchasing to installing the electronics for my conversion (phase 3). After installing them to the plastic fenders it soon became obvious that this was unacceptable, as the platform was bouncy, weak and unstable.

Installing a dedicated circuit panel say a 200 amp model could be an alternative or supplement to public fast charging stations. Herron makes a valid point. Charging 20kw/h in an hour takes almost 100 amps for an hour. For electric vehicles with large battery packs, the biggest limiter is already in the circuit panel. About Gas 2.0
