In 226 miles of mostly freeway driving through Southern California we averaged 23.8 We did a bit better on a 120-mile freeway run with the adaptive cruise control set at 65 mph, achieving 28.1 New Vehicle Five years/60,000 miles.

The EPA has rated the 2024 Maverick Hybrid fuel economy at 42 mpg city/33 highway and 37 combined.

Over 245 miles driving through Southern California we averaged 27.1 Our best all-highway number, on a 135-mile run with the cruise control set to 65 mph, was 32.1 Powertrain – Five years/60,000 miles. Fuel Economy King in a Not-So-Small Pickup. This compact pickup is smaller than the mid- and full-size trucks roaming our streets, but size alone doesn’t explain how it sips fuel. The EPA has rated the Maverick Hybrid’s fuel economy at 42 mpg city/33 highway and 37 combined. A smaller, but not small pickup.
