Today's Junkyard Find is a second-generation BRAT, found in a self-service yard between Denver and Cheyenne. In order to evade the 25 percent Chicken Tax on imported light trucks, Subaru installed carpeting and jump seats in the beds of 1978-1985 BRATs sold here. This made it a sales hit in snowy, mountainous Colorado.

Juneau EV, along with Plug In America , provided 2023 electric vehicle (EV) tax information. More than 100 EV enthusiasts with 40 EVs came together in the parking lot of solar company Robco Electric , where two booths were staffed to answer questions about charging station and rooftop solar installation procedures.

The project will deploy 554 alternative fuel and hybrid electric vehicles and install 153 alternative fueling and electric vehicle charging stations throughout the Chicago region.
