GM Extends EV Development with S. Korean Demo Fleet of Battery-Electric Chevrolet Cruzes; LG Chem Batteries, LG Electronics Propulsion Systems

General Motors announced a demonstration project ( earlier post ) to explore market needs and customer acceptance of battery electric vehicles in Korea. The production plug-in hybrid has a number of key changes from the 125 prototype demo units that were deployed in the field for testing and customer feedback. The demo units defaulted to EV mode.
