He ended up buying the Revolt motorcycle. They should look at using the battery discharge energy for running equipment on the battery line or pump energy back into the factory grid. We will definitely try to be there. Maybe this is going to be the future of the BPO industry. He himself was in the market for one.

Also, besides giving you the ability to charge at night when most utility rates are lower, future vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology may allow you to sell some of your stored energy back to the utilities. The demands on the grid would require a lot of infrastructure work without some sort of "energy reservoir" in place.

The true impact of electric vehicles should consider the make-up of the power grids where these cars will be used. Best take on all this has been that SouthPark episode with "It" You want something efficient that uses little resources and doesnt impact traffic and parking, then buy a motorcycle.

Notice in [link] that GM carefully avoids claiming to reduce CO2 by shifting to the grid, but leads people off the track by focusing on smog related issues. The intolerable act is to pretend that making cars into plug-ins will reduce CO2. GM knows better and guards against making fraudulent claims. Many others are not so careful.
