Ford is recalling over 200 F-150 Lightning units due to a loose or missing retention nut on the high-voltage battery that could increase the risk of a fire. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) last month issued a recall notice affecting as many as 216 F-150 Lightning units. What are your thoughts?

Tesla seemed to poke some fun at the Ford F-150 Lightning in its Powershare promotional video. In its highlights for the new feature, Tesla depicted a Cybertruck owner helping out an F-150 Lightning that needed some extra range on the road. Neighbor's wife forgot to charge her Tesla while visiting her parents.

Ford has sent out an internal memo to all dealerships in the United States and Canada, advising sales staff to not apply dealership markups to customers ordering the new, all-electric F-150 Lightning. In December, we reported that Ford was preparing to open the order bank for the F-150 Lightning in January.
